Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Patient Care Coordinator in Ridgewood, New Jersey. The role is in the healthcare industry, and the successful candidate will be responsible for managing patient information and coordinating patient care. This role necessitates a customer-facing background and the ability to converse with customers over the phone or in person.Responsibilities: Manage medical receptionist duties, including greeting and checking in patients Enter patient information into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system accurately and efficiently Verify patient insurance details, ensuring all information is current and correct Schedule appointments and follow up with patients to confirm Make calls to schedule evaluations and new appointments, including 3-6 month check-ups Process patient payments, ensuring all transactions are accurate and timely Utilize phone and software systems for various general office duties Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the workspace Assist in clinical trial operations and dialysis procedures as needed Execute billing functions in compliance with healthcare regulations. Requirements At least 1 year of experience in a similar role Proficiency in Banner Ads, Blood Glucose, Cerner Technologies, Dentrix Dental Software, and EHR System Familiarity with Billing Functions, Clinical Trial Operations, Dialysis, HealthCare.gov, and Insurance Experience with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and Scheduling Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks Strong organizational and time management skills Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures High level of professionalism and ethical standards Ability to maintain patient confidentiality Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
