The Supply Chain team is tasked with building collaborative supply chain processes with key retailers as well as enhancing internal business processes focused on the sell through and fulfillment of Samsung’s award-winning consumer electronics products.Duties & Responsibilities: Monitoring and publishing Supply Chain Key Performance Indicators, identifying exceptional cases and analyzing those metrics for potential process improvements Forecasting sell through for multiple accounts using statistical & event-driven analysis Analyzing & reporting sell through & channel inventory trends both nationally and regionally for all major accounts Assisting with launch of Samsung’s Collaborative Planning Forecasting & Replenishment (CPFR) process for key customers Assist with other Supply Chain projects as necessary includingNecessary Skills / Attributes Bachelor of Arts / Science required – Supply Chain Degree preferred 1-3 years of experience in supply chain, demand planning or statistical forecasting Knowledgeable in SAP, BI, GSCM preferred Customer Service Background preferred Ability to communicate at different organizational levels and willingness to take initiative are particularly important Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Access, and Power Point) is requiredPerformance Standards (How will duties be measured): Sales Forecast Accuracy Order Forecast Accuracy # of SKU”s & Customers in CPFR President’s Dashboard / sell thru analysisSummary:The main function of a supply chain analyst is to coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments of an establishment according to production schedule. A typical supply chain analyst is responsible for reviewing and distributing production, work and shipment schedules and compiling reports on inventory levels, cost, etc.Job Responsibilities: Examine documents, materials and products, and monitor work processes in order to assess completeness, accuracy and conformation to standards and specifications. Review documents such as production schedules, work orders, and staffing tables to determine personnel and materials requirements, and material priorities. Record production data, including volume produced, consumption of raw materials, and quality control measures. Requisition and maintain inventories of materials and supplies necessary to meet production demands.Skills: Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, problem solving and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyze costs related to manufacturing, labor and materials. Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information.
