Biochemist - Entry Level (Process Characterization and Controls)

Conduct laboratory-scale cell culture studies (shake flask through fed-batch bioreactor and harvest) to support characterization of cell banks and/or manufacturing bioprocessesPerform affinity chromatography and viral inactivation in support of lab-scale cell culture activitiesPerform cGLP cell banking activities for research useCoordinate with a broader scientific team to align on scheduling of lab activitiesStatistically analyze large data sets and draft technical reports to support commercial filingsPresent on technical topics during cross functional meetings.Provide technical support to Manufacturing during troubleshooting and continuous improvement opportunitiesEnjoy working in a fast-paced environment and you have the innate ability to balance multiple projects, prioritize them and execute them independently, while excelling at keeping all impacted parties well advisedCan take on new and sometimes ambiguous challenges, learning quicklyWork in a team environment but can also take ownership of large technical reports and projectsDevelop and drive scientific and/or business-related improvement ideasUnderstand antibody manufacturing processesUtilization of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
