Proud to be an equal opportunity employer.Key Responsibilities:As the Senior MRP Planner, Advanced Therapies, you will:

Have multi-site responsibility for the development, maintenance, and execution of material replenishment plans to meet operational requirements, ensuring efficient and effective purchasing practices while optimizing the balance between capacity quality, service, reliability, and cost for each material.

Forecast raw material requirements for production to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials; and ensure timely availability of raw materials and operations supplies to support the accelerated advanced therapies production/development process.

Provide detailed reports of inventory levels and raise material supply issues/constraints including root cause analysis and preventive actions.

Implement/Improve planning and logistics processes and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) master data for changes to the existing/new processes or products.

Manage raw material inventories, balance total stock value and potential scrap against stock out risk mitigation ensuring inventory policies and safety stock levels are met.

Provision Material Requirements Planning (MRP) forecasts to the Janssen Supply Chain (JSC) Global Procurement group.

Collaborate with JSC Global Procurement regarding potential supply shortages, quality issues and pricing changes.

Collaborate with internal and external partners including Suppliers, Quality, Manufacturing, Finance, Accounts Payable, and others.

Engage in and support process improvement initiatives (e.g. vendor integration, continuous improvement and cost improvement projects).

QualificationsEducation:

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably with a focus in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Life Sciences

Experience and Skills:Required:

Minimum three (3) years of related professional experience is required.

Proficiency in SAP

Proficiency in English (verbal and written) and strong communication skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

Sophisticated proficiency with Microsoft Excel (V&H Lookups, Pivot Tables, Graphing)

Experience in Planning, Materials Management, Operations, Technical Operations, or Material Sciences in a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) manufacturing environment

Understanding of Supply Chain Management: Extensive knowledge of supply chain processes, logistics, and inventory control

Problem-Solving Abilities: Proven capability to identify supply chain issues and propose practical solutions

Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data to forecast demand and optimize inventory levels optimally

Preferred:

Experience in the Pharmaceutical, Medical Device or Consumer industry

Supply Chain or Six Sigma Certification is preferred (e.g. APICS, Green Belt, Black Belt)

Shown discernment in the areas of inventory management and inventory entitlement, supply chain management, supply planning, scenario analysis, sales and operations planning, or process excellence

Experience with Master data and MRP functionality in SAP or other manufacturing/planning business processes

Other:

This position may require up to ten percent (10%) of domestic travel.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $77,000 to $124,200.The compensation and benefits information set forth in this posting applies to candidates hired in the United States. Candidates hired outside the United States will be eligible for compensation and benefits in accordance with their local market."The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance.

Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

Employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

Vacation – up to 120 hours per calendar year

Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington – up to 56 hours per calendar year

Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year of Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
