Description:Operation of mechanical test equipment, conducting routine testing of mechanical properties on small medical components such as strength and flexibility; lab testing on small medical components involving ductility, hardness, light optical microscopy; and data collection and analysisAbility to work independently under minimal supervision with attention to detail is essentialDay to day

Support mechanical testing in the lab for all sites.

Mechanical testing to determine how strong the product is.

Marketing analysis

Work with robotics to teach the robot locations, troubleshoot error messages. Become subject matter expert to support other locations with same robots not currently in use.

Data collection and entering into template and writing reports.

Additional Skills & Qualifications: BS Degree mechanical engineering Past industry experience in electromechanical equipment and mechanical testing, and data collection in a laboratory environment Nice to have: Knowledge of robotics - hands on practical experience with robotics, strong interest and ability to troubleshoot error messages Dexterity skills Nice to have: AutoCAD / SolidWorks MUST be proficient with Microsoft word, PowerPoint and ExcelAbout Actalent Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
