High School Diploma or GED
Preferred:
PTCB Certification
Certifications and Licenses Required:
Must possess pharmacy technician registration in the state of NJ with the Board of Pharmacy at hire if prior experience as technician
Must obtain pharmacy technician registration in the state of NJ with the Board of Pharmacy within 180 days of employment if no prior technician experience
Scheduling Requirements:
Shift working, 8:00 4:00pm each day

Essential Functions:
Taking responsibility within appropriate guidelines under the supervisor of the pharmacist for medication preparation and distribution duties, inclusive of fill medication orders
Prepare premixed/frozen/mini bag plus IV products
Refill floor stock and automated dispensing cabinets
Perform inventory maintenance
Unit inspections
Order medications when appropriate
Perform any other duties as required
