Our client is a global leading general contractor with a prominent presence in New Jersey. They are working with some of the top pharmaceutical companies in the US supporting their complex construction needs. They are looking to bring in a highly motivated Electrical Superintendent to support their ongoing pharmaceutical construction projects in Central New Jersey. JOB DESCRIPTION:
This position will report to the Project Director & Director of Operations with matrixed supervision by the Project Manager and Sr Superintendent for the given assignment
Provide daily job site inspection of work to ensure completion in accordance with established designs, specifications and industry standards
Complete construction reports
Review contractor billing, in-service reports
Provide contractor/vendor evaluations during project active construction phase
Assist in the completion of the project close-out reports
Perform on-call duties in the case of emergent weather-related outages
Participate in bid evaluations and the contractor selection process
Complete necessary training and qualify to hold an assignment in Industry Tagging System and serve as a Tag Holder, when required
This position will support permitting work required for all regulatory agencies from the federal level, the state level and municipality level
Position will visit construction sights and will be required to take site safety training and adhere to site safety rules
