Description: Work as Lead technologist in blood bank for hospital directly under manager Provide Operational management in blood bank Help staff with quality concerns, patient testing concerns Helping with maintenance with other tasks (not routine regulatory tasks) Train new hires and students (nursing residents come in sometimes) Mentor to the blood bank staff and outsiders of the lab Sit on transfusion committee and reports out every month on the data 2nd in command with management and leadership of the blood bank Handle procedure reviews Utilize Cerner Millennium computer system for patient ordersSkills:blood bank, Mlt, Medical technology, Health care, Hematology, AscpAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Bachelors Degree in chemical, biological or laboratory science/medical technology science, M.T. or M.L.T.3-5 years' experience in blood bank (hospital)M.T.
