As a part of the broader Australian Steel Products portfolio, we have six major manufacturing sites at Port Kembla that deliver a variety of products, innovative solutions and services to our export and domestic customers.The painting and finishing department at Springhill is the final process in the manufacture of COLORBOND®, where coils of steel are painted with our world leading Colorbond coating process and then packaged and despatched to our Australian & International customers.In this vital role, you will use your technical expertise to drive essential outcomes in the maintenance and development of the buildings and facilities across the Springhill Site. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to, coordinating routine maintenance work involving Steel Structures and structural repairs, Facilities maintenance including building trades & plumbing work, Plant buildings walling & roofing repairs & resheeting, minor civil works, and grounds & surrounds maintenance.What Will You Do?As a Buildings & Facilities Maintenance Coordinator, you will:supervise the day-to-day management of building and facilities maintenance activities, including planning, organising, execution and review of maintenance and improvement projects including engaging external trade contractors.coordinate and provide support to the maintenance resources within the section including a small number of cleaners/storeman, yard gang, and support team.participate in cost reduction and capital upgrade projectsrespond to the day-to-day Buildings & Facilities issues.plan & execute longer term facilities & Buildings refurbishments and upgrades.More About YouAs an enthusiastic and motivated individual, you will bring your experience and demonstrate a willingness to develop your skills.
