Immediate need for our
DIRECT Client - Project Manager; Warehouse, Distribution Center, Logistics Subject Matter Expert A world-renowned Global Pharmaceutical Corporation is in immediate need for an experienced Project Manager, expert in leading strategic Warehouse Distribution Center / Logistics projects, to spearhead and implement the consolidation and shut down of several current warehouses, and transition to and ramp up of a single new warehouse.The chosen candidate must have experience with both new distribution center set up as well as transitioning of multiple existing DC’s to the new single DC. This person will be responsible for creating the plan, and managing the team for the successful implementation and completion of the project.Primary Qualifications:- Direct experience leading the ramp down of current Warehouse / DC facility and Cut Over to new facility
- Direct experience leading the ramp up of new Warehouse / DC facility
- Deep general Pharmaceutical Warehouse / Distribution Center management experience
- Experience with both new distribution center set up as well as transitioning of multiple existing DC’s to the new single DC.
- Experience managing through a “blackout period” during the transition from the old warehouse to the new
- New Distribution Center setup & Transition of Legacy’s DC’s
- Demonstrated experience w/Distribution Center Operations, Inventory Movement, Legacy Distribution Center decommissioning, etc.
- Demonstrated experience with Distribution Ramp Down, Blackout, Ramp Up
- Assess the capabilities and readiness of the business team to plan and execute business cutover.
- Map workstreams resources, readiness and scope.
- Hold workshops to address gaps in business readiness and stand-up cutover processes:

- Business Ramp-Down, Business Continuity Planning, Resource Planning, Site specific Cutover
- Detailed cutover plan with individual tasks, deadlines, and prerequisites, for business tasks
- Regular monitoring and reporting of progress to plan through all phases
- Tabletop cutover rehearsals to refine the ramp-down & ramp up cutover tasks
- Ramp-up rehearsals to develop and refine controlled startup plan
- Cutover dress rehearsal to practice communication and execution of cutover tasks
- Stand up command centers during critical cutover period to support real-time communication and escalation of issues encountered
- Working with PMO and Core Cutover Team to develop and drive the execution of a detailed Ramp Down, Ramp Up Plan by Site
- Lead the planning, coordination and monitoring of the defined Ramp Down & Ramp Up Sites Plan
- Plan and Monitor the execution of Business Ramp Up Readiness and Entry/Exit Criteria for Go Live, Transition to Steady State
- Detailed cutover plan with individual tasks, deadlines, and prerequisites, for business tasks
- Regular monitoring and reporting of progress to plan through all phases

- Work with DRI, Business, Data and I/T leads to define, plan, coordinate and execute Ramp Up Plan, specifically:
- Planning and monitoring of Ramp Up Entry criteria including risk mitigation (FMEA)
- Alignment on Ramp Up Exit criteria prior to Go-Live with all key stakeholders
- ‘Day in the Life’ Issue Management process, meeting cadence and reporting
- Command Center Strategy & Detailed Resource Plan
- Business & IT metrics to measure process health and platform performance
- I/T infrastructure/interface readiness, including batch job monitoring
- Change control and Release management process with defined release schedule
- Simulation and End User / Super User Training on BRU ‘Day in the Life’
- Transition to Steady State Support
- Working with stakeholders to develop project plans and project risk analysis for all projects. One will be responsible for learning all associated processes.
- This individual will be responsible for communication of project status to all project stakeholders. Communication includes: project meeting minutes, post-introduction reports, and any status or project detail information needed.
- He/she will be responsible for defining key project constraints such as scope, schedule, budget, resources and risks.
- He/she will be a liaison with group manager or stakeholder managers as needed to ensure project goals are achieved.
- Project Management experience
- Exceptional leadership skills
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills are required. Proficiency utilizing the MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook, SharePoint) is required.
- JDA (Red Prairie) referred to as Blue Yonder
- SAP (USROTC) for loaner kit management
- Would be remote until COVID restrictions are lifted, preference would be to have someone in the New Jersey area (e.g. Piscataway NJ is the project home base).
- OR Near a regional airport on EST that can fly to Indianapolis/Mooresville such as Piscataway New Jersey
