Job Title: Associate Project Manager Location: Piscataway, NJ Hours/Schedule: M-F 8-5 Type: contract Overview Leading consumer goods company looking for an experienced Associate Project Manager. Ideal candidates should have at least 1 year of experience in a project coordination or administrative role, preferably in a fragrance, beauty, or consumer goods industry. Responsibilities Project Management:
Enter and maintain project details in the company’s project management system, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
Track and monitor project progress, deadlines, and deliverables, collaborating with internal departments to ensure alignment.
Coordinate and follow up on project-related tasks to ensure on-time completion.
Sample Coordination:
Manage sample requests, ensuring accurate preparation, packaging, and timely delivery to clients.
Maintain inventory of samples and communicate effectively with the lab or production teams to fulfill requests.
Customer Communication:
Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries related to project timelines, sample status, and other requests.
Proactively provide updates to clients and address any issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.
Sales Support:
Work closely with the sales team to support account activities, including preparing documentation and reports.
Assist in organizing client meetings, presentations, and other sales-related activities.
Administrative Duties:
Ensure all relevant documentation and project information is properly filed and accessible.
Support the team with additional administrative tasks as needed to maintain smooth operations.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a project coordination or administrative role, preferably in a fragrance, beauty, or consumer goods industry.
Skills:
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in project management tools and software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
Problem-solving mindset and proactive attitude.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in the fragrance industry or familiarity with fragrance development processes.
Knowledge of ERP or CRM systems is a plus.
