Description Robert Half has an excellent opportunity for an Accounts Receivable (A/R) professional at a cutting edge company in the Logistics industry. To succeed in this role, you will enter, post and reconcile batches, research and resolve customer A/R issues, prepare aging report, place billing and collection calls, maintain cash receipts journal, update, and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L. If you are looking for a company that offers great career growth potential and an impressive benefits package, this could be a great match for you, based in the Middlesex, New Jersey area.How you will make an impact Collections –o Run aging reports weekly and email to the client.o Provide weekly updates to Sales personnel regarding their accounts.o Review and conclude on any invoice discrepancies. Cash application –o Apply daily cash deposits.o Reconcile any payment discrepancies.o Scan any checks received.o Process credit card payments. Billing –o Review completed orders for accuracy, post revenue and submit to the client.o Project billing – Work with clients for Purchase Orders. Reporting of special billing processes per client. Warehouse billing – Review with the Warehouse team regarding total monthly billing for storage fees.QUALIFICATIONS: Associates Degree in Accounting 1-2 years’ experience in a related position Ability to thoroughly understand and work with numbers Ability to communicate thoroughly and professionally with all internal/external parties Ability to be highly organized/detail-oriented Ability to multi-task and function in a fast-paced environment Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office, ETA and WorldtrakRequirements - Proven analytical skills in basic accounts receivable and accounting policy
Expertise in cash applications
Comprehensive knowledge of Collections
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting or related field desired
Proficient in ERP systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills
1+ years of relevant experience in accounts receivable
Great attention to detail
