Growing together.We are seeking an experienced, analytical and motivated Supervisor, Pharmacy Operations to lead a team of Pharmacy Technicians in the Pine Brook, NJ office. In this fast-paced role, you would manage Pharmacy Technicians to ensure productivity and improve current processes. This is a 2nd shift opportunity with working hours of Sunday - Thursday from 2:30 pm - 11:30 pm EST with potential overtime Primary Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day workflow of technicians / clerks in the following areas: fulfillment, inventory, and shipping
Work effectively with other production areas of order coordination, clinical, and reimbursement to ensure smooth operational coverage
Manage Quality Level of fulfillment prescription processing, packing, and shipping
Oversee inventory specialist roles and responsibilities including maintenance of integrity and stock levels of on-site inventory
Ensure product integrity and cold chain management process for refrigerated items
Handle escalated issues and elevated telecommunications
Ensure proper records are kept for regulatory and compliance
Maintain relationship with representatives of outside carrier companies such as UPS, GC, FedEx, etc.; Other projects, as assigned
Make recommendation to management team related to professional development and staff training needs
Hire, develop, and execute yearly performance appraisals and perform corrective action plans for personnel
Provide inspirational leadership and guidance to the team through feedback, performance management and development conversations
Develop and implement a Technician training plan and progress tracking for all registered technicians, as required by state regulation

Current and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician License in the state of New Jersey or license able to be obtained within 180 days
Willing or flexibility to work outside of regular scheduled hours in order to meet demands of business as needed
Able to work second shift Sunday – Thursday; 2:30pm – 11:30PM EST
Able to work / manage operations during Holidays + overtime as business necessary
Preferred Qualifications:
National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB)
2+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience
Supervisory experience within a pharmacy production environment
Experience producing document routine reports and correspondence
Knowledge of Pharmacy dispensing systems
Past history managing successfully with proven track record - a staff of employees
The salary range for this role is $59,500 to $116,600 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
