Description Robert Half is actively looking for an entry-level Accountant. You will be responsible for entering data, reviewing financial statements, and creating and manipulating Excel spreadsheets. Prepare journal entries monthly
Reconcile and balance general ledger accounts
Researching and rectifying account discrepancies
Facilitating audit fieldwork for both operational and financial audits
Executing alternate duties and partaking in special projects as assigned
Perform data entry Requirements - Microsoft Excel experience
Adeptness in Accounts Receivable (AR)
Proficiency in credit collections
Experience with commercial collections
Consumer collections experience preferred
Knowledge of Cash Collections
Able to work independently as well as part of a team with flexibility and willingness to learn and to take initiative on variety of tasks and projects
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Accurate, swift, data entry abilities
Applicants are recommended to hold an AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
3+ years of relevant accounting experience at minimum
Strong attention to detail
