Description SAIC is looking for a group of engineers

(Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical) to coordinate and guide multi-disciplined teams developing some of the most advanced conventional munition capabilities within the Department of Defense. This position would sit at Picatinny Arsenal in New Jersey.

Responsibilities:
  • As part of our team, you will leverage your engineering background while developing expertise within advanced munitions to generate innovative solutions to some of the most challenging issues facing our client at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ.
  • Assess emerging requirements and develop technical concepts/implementation plans to rapidly meet organizational priorities and program objectives within a dynamic environment.
  • Design test plans, monitor performance/technical progress and coordinate the efforts of diverse stakeholders to develop solutions to emerging challenges while maintaining cost and schedule constraints.
  • Share your expertise and learn from others to enhance organizational expertise to better support our Warfighters.
  • Analyze data, author, edit and contribute to production of technical and test reports

Qualifications

Required Education: Bachelors and five (5) years of experience; Masters and three (3) years of experience; PhD and zero (0) years related experience; four (4) years of experience considered in lieu of degree.

Qualifications:
  • Strong communications skills with the ability to present concepts and ideas verbally, visually and written
  • Ability to work within multi-disciplined and diverse teams
  • Expertise in DOD acquisition (preferred)
  • Expertise in munitions and energetics (preferred)

Clearance:
  • Ability to obtain a secret clearance; Minimum of an Interim Secret clearance is required to start.
