Description We are offering a unique opportunity in Pennsauken, New Jersey, for an Accounting Assistant to join our team. This role primarily revolves around the financial and administrative tasks in our fast-paced telecom provider company. The job function involves processing orders, invoices, and managing Accounts Receivable.Responsibilities: Processing customer orders and generating invoices accurately and promptly. Management of Accounts Receivable, including monitoring customer accounts and ensuring timely collection of payments. Utilizing Microsoft Excel for various financial tasks and reports. Entering invoices into the system with accuracy and attention to detail. Regularly updating and maintaining accurate customer credit records. Resolving customer credit inquiries professionally and promptly. Taking appropriate action to collect delinquent payments. Ensuring compliance with established financial regulations and company policies. Collaborating with the team to streamline financial processes and procedures. Providing administrative support to the accounting department as needed. Requirements Prior experience in a similar role with a minimum of 2 years as an Accounting Assistant Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Ability to accurately enter invoices Experience with order entry Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy Excellent organizational and multitasking skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Demonstrated knowledge of standard accounting practices and procedures Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on accurate and timely analyses High level of integrity, confidentially, and accountability Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
