AWS Engineer

Genesis10 is currently seeking an AWS Engineer with our client in the financial industry located in Pennington, NJ, Charlotte, NC, and Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract position.Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain Terraform modules for provisioning and managing AWS infrastructureImplement and enforce IaC best practices, including version control, code reviews, and automated testingCreate and manage infrastructure across multiple AWS accounts and regionsDeploy and manage AWS services, including EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, Lambda, and othersMonitor and optimize AWS infrastructure for performance, security, and cost-effectivenessImplement and maintain security best practices within the AWS environmentPerform troubleshooting, triage, and debugging of infrastructure and application issuesAnalyze logs, metrics, and alerts to identify root causes and implement solutionsCollaborate with development and operations teams to resolve complex issuesIntegrate Terraform into CI/CD pipelines for automated infrastructure deploymentsDevelop and maintain automation scripts for routine infrastructure tasksImplement and maintain monitoring and alerting systemsDesign, deploy, and manage our AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principlesRequirements:A deep understanding of AWS services, Terraform best practices, and possess excellent troubleshooting and debugging skillsOnly candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, please apply!About Genesis10:Ranked a Top Staffing Firm in the U.S. by Staffing Industry Analysts for six consecutive years, Genesis10 puts thousands of consultants and employees to work across the United States every year in contract, contract-for-hire, and permanent placement roles.
