Spa SupervisorSUMMARY The purpose of the Spa Supervisor is to provide support for the spa management team in all areas of the spa to ensure smooth and efficient operational procedures within all departments and enables the staff to provide optimal guest serviceESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Major areas of responsibility/ management include, but are not limited to:

Ensure all policies, procedures and standards are implemented, functional, and adhered to consistently.

Making spa reservations, adjusting schedules, creating packages/promotions

Anticipate guest needs.

Ability to cover shifts as requested at the spa and assist operations as needed

Daily opening and closing responsibilities of the spa.

Support Spa Leaders in any administrative tasks including sales reporting, ordering and inventory, scheduling, labor management, staff performance tracking, coordinating promotions as well as facility maintenance.

Conduct and support ongoing educational opportunities for associates, including daily line ups, training staff members, coach & counsel, maintain employee files.

Assist in communication between all departments that is necessary for the day-to-day operations to be successful.

Attend meetings as required

Ensure guest satisfaction and guest recoveries.

Resolve any guest issues or concerns that may arise.

Communicate any guest or associate concerns to the rest of the management team.

Assisting with removing used linen and restocking linen.

Ensuring an adequate supply of clean towels, robes and guest-wear are stocked and ready for use.

Ensure all closing and opening duties around the spa have been completed either by staff or self

Tidying all areas around Spa Pendry to ensure standards are met in spa reception, locker rooms, salon, pool and fitness center.

Ensure all locker room amenities and refreshment bar are well-stocked, organized, filled up and ready for guest’s usage

Assist fellow associates with daily operations to support healthy teamwork and contribute to the success of the spa.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school or equivalent education required

Minimum 2 -3 years of customer service experience in a luxury hotel or Spa environment

Working knowledge of spa services and products

Possess basic math skills and have the ability to accurately handle all spa billing

Ability to communicate clearly and speak, read, write and understand English eloquently

Advanced skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

PREFERRED

1-2 years supervisor experience in a spa setting preferred.

Previous massage therapist or esthetician state license preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Position requires walking and giving direction most of the working day; must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 6 hours in length. Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill all tasks.
