22-00960 - Senior DevOps Engineer @ Parsippany NJ or Alpharetta GA – Hybrid - Contract to Hire or Direct Hire with our DIRECT client.Kindly mail me your updated resume in word format incase your are currently seeking opportunities and be interested in the opportunity.Job Description:Education / Experience / KnowledgeResponsibilities:•Architecting and deploying of fault tolerant highly available, Cost effective and secure servers in AWS.•Designing AWS Cloud Formation Templates to automatically provision AWS resources such as VPC, Subnets, EC2, S3, IAM, EBS, Security Group, Auto Scaling and RDS to ensure successful deployment of Web applications and database Templates.•Implementing deployment strategies Blue-Green Deployment and Rolling Deployment•Creating and implementing branching merging strategy with multiple branches. Used GIT as source code management repository to keep track of version Changes.•Configuring and Managing JFrog Artifactory Nexus as Repository Manager.•Creating Docker images using Docker file from scratch worked on Docker container snapshots removing images and managing Docker volumes customized and modified base images from existing environment configurations and maintaining the image repo development teams.•Implementing micro services on Kubernetes Cluster, wrote manifests to create Kubernetes deployments and services.•Writing Shell and Python scripts for automating the build and deployment process.•Worked on creating pipelines to automate application.•Develop infrastructure software for CI/CD.Education & Experience Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field plus five (5) years of related experience. Employer will accept a master’s degree plus two (2) years of experience in lieu of bachelor’s degree plus five years of experience.Two (2) years of experience must include:•Solid Java, Python and object-oriented development skills•Kubernetes, Ansible•Parallel and Distributed Systems•Event Driven Systems (Kafka, Confluent, etc)•Linux (bash, ssh, etc)•Strong SQL query knowledge•Git (Branch, Rebase, Merge, Tag, etc)•RDBMS and NoSQL (MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB, etc)•Networking (UDP, TCP, Routing)•AWS (EC2, S3, Lamda)•Public Cloud (AWS, Google Cloud Platform)•Develop infrastructure software for CI/CD•Develop code for infrastructure cloud automation•Build and support large scale distributed systems•Evangelize best practices in infrastructure development•Deliver frictionless Cloud infrastructure experienceVacancy caducado!
