Facilities Assistant

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Facilities Assistant in Parsippany, New Jersey. This role is primarily focused on the management and maintenance of our facilities, which includes communication with internal and external clients, vendor management, and ensuring site security.Responsibilities: Oversee the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and Purchase Order (PO) systems Facilitate communication with vendors and schedule necessary work Ensure compliance with fire safety procedures Handle all hard and soft services, including cleaning contracts, security, and mechanical/electrical/building maintenance Manage calls and log them into the CMMS and PO systems Maintain a call-out system for emergencies, security, and alarm-related incidents Ensure the site is secure at all times Communicate effectively with both internal and external clients Oversee vendor management, including the scheduling of all works.
