Description We are offering a position in the bustling IT Services industry located in Parsippany, New Jersey. The role of a Billing Clerk is open for a professional who can adeptly handle customer credit applications and maintain their records. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Processing purchase orders and billing tasks with accuracy and efficiency Managing timekeeping activities to ensure the smooth running of operations Handling the company's largest account - Board of Hawaii, ensuring all related tasks are completed on time Utilizing Microsoft Excel for v-lookups and pivot tables to streamline data management Leveraging skills in accounting software systems and IBM AS/400 to perform various accounting functions Using ADP - Financial Services for light payroll and timekeeping tasks Handling billing functions and claim administration effectively Engaging in collection processes for delinquent payments Providing excellent customer service by resolving customer credit inquiries Using Microsoft Office Suites for various administrative tasks. Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Knowledge and experience with ADP - Financial Services Familiarity with IBM AS/400 Proficient in Microsoft Excel Experience with Microsoft Office Suites Understanding of Accounting Functions Experience with Billing Functions Ability to handle Claim Administration Knowledge of Collection Processes Strong Customer Service skills Background in IT Services industry Previous experience as a Billing Clerk is advantageous Excellent communication and organizational skills Detail-oriented and able to multi-task effectively Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities High level of integrity and trustworthiness Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
