This includes protecting the environment, making sure our food is safe, and helping find cures for cancer.How will you make an impact ?Operates as an internal Procurement partner Data specialist within the procurement team and across a global network of divisions, groups, functions, and categories to ensure successful program delivery. Leads implementation economics, risks, and communications. In conjunction with relevant business partners, identifies, designs, and implements novel business solutions for Procurement.What will you do?

Reports on projects, pipeline (with Group/Category visibility), and AOP financial targets, including adoption of a standard tool and processes.

Coordinates data inputs and analysis such as GHG emissions accounting and modeling, and carrier engagement across the function to enable key reporting visibility and insights.

Performs analysis to identify value through financial and options analysis, identification of required achievements and results, implementation plans and resources required to achieve and ensure projects contribute to the organization.

Leads projects with a minimum supervision; may lead multiple projects, including running project timelines and results. Leads implementation of new methodologies and processes. Liaises with internal scientific, analytical, manufacturing and laboratory functional areas to meet project and team objectives.

Implements effective communication plans and deliver presentations to propose key initiatives, provide critical implementation updates, operational line-of-sight, and demonstrate delivery of value within the organization.

Monitors key risks and the impact of those risks on the project and through scenario planning.

Responsibilities

Applies consistent project management approaches and processes, reports roadblocks and variances to project plan, ensure projects are on schedule and achieve stated objectives.

Tracks and monitors timely completion of project achievements within the portfolio, plan vs. actual and report that progress as required.

Leads overall project plans, details key landmarks, handling overall schedules, budgets, resources, timelines.

Detects and facilitates issue resolution including appropriate actions to address program risk.

Maintains document repository and file structure as well as access rights, own cataloguing and supervising version control on key documents.

Coordinates global, cross-functional, geographically distributed teams to achieve desired outcomes.

Coordinates with team members to identify and document resource constraints.

Works with key partners to achieve key deliverables on time and within plan, develop relationships within the company to complete assigned projects.

Facilitates breakthrough thinking by integrating diverse views while participating in targeted content sessions to enable problem solving.

Collaborates with Procurement Enablement on reporting cadences to achieve a single source of truth for the savings pipeline and inflation.

How will you get here?Education

Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, or Science. MBA desirable

Certification in Project Management is desirable.

Experience

1+ years validated experience handling complicated, global programs and project initiatives, within a sustainability or supply chain function.

Chemicals, Life Sciences, BioTech, or Pharma industry preferred.

Process improvement background (PPI, Lean, Six Sigma, etc) preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Strong proficiency in MS-Office tools (specifically, Excel, PowerPoint)

Robust project management skills with ability to prioritize and handle multiple parallel projects.

Outstanding analytical, investigative and problem-solving skills

Creating culture of ownership and collaboration with other functions, collaborate across multiple sites and platforms in a virtual office environment.

Multi-tasking skills and planning for prioritizing personal workload.

Results oriented, metrics driven leader with a root cause, permanent fix approach, continuous improvement approach.

Ability to travel between 10-30% on an annual basis.
