Job Title: Construction Manager Job DescriptionThe Construction Manager will oversee the construction process from inception to completion, acting as the primary liaison between the architecture firm and the construction team. This role requires a deep understanding of construction management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Responsibilities
Oversee all phases of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards.
Act as the primary point of contact between the architecture firm, contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications, building codes, and safety regulations.
Develop and manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective solutions.
Create and maintain project schedules, coordinating with all parties to ensure timely completion.
Identify and resolve issues that arise during the construction process, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.
Provide regular updates to the architecture firm and clients on project status, including progress reports, budget updates, and any issues encountered.
Review and manage contracts with contractors and suppliers, ensuring all terms are met.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any on-site issues.
Essential Skills
5+ years of experience as an owner’s representative or construction manager.
Background in vertical and site work construction.
Experience with education, sports, or community centers, public works, educational projects, project coordination, and construction management.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $43.26 - $45.67/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
