The Analyst will use system applications for tracking, analyzing, and developing reports, are responsible for running reports in a timely, efficient and accurate manner. This role develops a deep understanding of the supported business process, building strong relationships with stakeholders, and delivering value, working with complex datasets to investigate key business trends, performance, issues, and behaviors.Qualifications:Required:
3 years experience in business analytics & healthcare revenue cycle or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience
Strong hands-on experience with analytics using tools such as Tableau
Strong hands-on experience with SQL Server & SQL Writing required to build to solve specific business needs to support Rev Cycle operations or analytical needs
Microsoft Office experience required with advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel,
Strong analytical skills and ability to identify appropriate analytical approaches depending on the business need
Business knowledge of table relationships and outcomes is required to build new views and queries
Excellent communication skills- verbal and written
Ability to effectively document and translate business requirements
Exceptional ability to visually present and communicate data, analyses, and findings
Great attention to detail to ensure highest level of quality/rigor in reports & data analysis
Ability to meet deadlines and handle varying workloads with a high degree of accuracy
Proactive, organized, detail oriented, and quality driven
Preferred:
Bachelor s Degree in the field of business management / finance
Strong knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle operations, e.g. Claim Preparation / Submission / Management / Posting / Collection
Knowledge of creating stored procedures is preferred
Essential Functions:
Develops Operational Dashboards to support Revenue Cycle Operations in Claim Preparation, Submission, Management, Posting, and Collections using appropriate BI tools
Communicates findings and insights to key stakeholders and business leads
Develops distribution ready reports and analyses on book of business as well as individual clients or departments using appropriate BI tools
Develops dashboards in Tableau
Documents processes to better support business operations
Tracks and reports projected savings versus actual savings for RWJBH overall and by member entity
Assists Onboarding of New Entities with data-related requests during member onboarding.
