Description Robert Half is currently seeking an experienced Inventory Controls Manager for a contract position to oversee and optimize our client's inventory management processes. As an Inventory Controls Manager, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing inventory controls systems and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of inventory management processes. This is a contract position requiring expertise in inventory controls, policy and procedure updates, and comprehensive inventory management.Responsibilities:

Inventory Controls:

Implement and maintain effective inventory control procedures to minimize discrepancies and ensure accurate stock levels.

Conduct regular audits and reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.

Policy and Procedure Updates:

Evaluate existing inventory control policies and procedures.

Update and develop new policies to enhance efficiency and compliance with industry standards.

Communicate changes to relevant stakeholders and ensure understanding and adherence.

Inventory Management:

Oversee day-to-day inventory activities, including receiving, storage, and order fulfillment.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize inventory turnover and minimize carrying costs.

Process Documentation:

Create and maintain detailed documentation of inventory control processes.

Provide training to warehouse staff on updated processes and procedures.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

Proven experience (X years) as an Inventory Controls Manager or similar role.

Strong background in updating and implementing inventory control policies and procedures.

Proficient in inventory management software and systems.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
