Collectively, the four premium studio brands produce over 3,000 hours of programming currently airing or streaming around the globe and own one of the largest libraries in the world with over 120,000 episodes of television. Current hits include the "Law & Order"-branded series, Emmy® Award-winning "Hacks,” "Chucky," "Dr. Death," "That's My Jam," "Baking It," “Everyone Else Burns” and “We Are Lady Parts.” As an intern for the USG Human Resources team, you will report to the Director, Human Resources and Manager, Employee Experience, while working with other members of the team to gain exposure across the business. You will support the USG employee population and partner with the HR team to strategize and facilitate initiatives and provide day to day support. In addition, you will support employee engagement initiatives, events, and communication. Throughout your time with the USG HR team, you will gain exposure to entertainment industry processes that support the needs of our employees and multi-billion-dollar global media business. Ops & Tech Human Resources: The O&T intern will have exposure to HR projects that span: onboarding, rewards and recognition, performance feedback, talent attraction and development, and HR’s business impact.  In the day to day, you will help solve problems involving: Benefits, Payroll, Compensation, HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and Data Analytics. The intern will also have exposure to the team’s union projects and CBA analysis.  Media Group Talent & Organization Development: The Talent & Organization Development team works closely with HR Business Partners and Business Leaders within the NBCU Media Group to help shape strategy, manage change, improve processes, redesign organizational structures, identify and coach key talent, and realign/shift cultures, assuring high performing, engaged, and inclusive teams. Alongside the T&OD team, the Media Group Talent & Organization Development intern may support the following projects and responsibilities: organizing training sessions, workshops, and offsites; preparing materials and assisting with logistics, such as booking venues and collecting feedback; assisting the team in analyzing employee data related to performance and engagement; helping create reports and presentations summarizing findings; conducting research on best practices in talent management, learning and development, and organizational effectiveness; assisting in planning and implementing employee engagement initiatives, such as surveys or team-building activities; maintaining accurate records of training sessions, participant feedback, and business development plans; collaborating on special projects; providing administrative support and contributing ideas to enhance organizational development efforts; attending networking events and contributing to team discussions.
