The Truck Breakdown Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the breakdown and distribution of goods or materials to various destinations. They coordinate and manage the breakdown process, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and timely delivery of products.
Duties & Responsibilities
· Breakdown Coordination: Coordinate and oversee the breakdown of shipments into the individual units or smaller quantities, ensuring accuracy and adherence to customer requirements and specifications.
· Distribution Planning: Develop distribution plans and schedules based on customer orders, shipping requirements, and available resources. Optimize routes and allocate resources to ensure efficient and timely deliveries.
· Inventory Management: Monitor and track inventory levels of products being broken down, ensuring an adequate supply is available to meet customer demands. Coordinate with warehouse personnel to replenish stock as needed.
· Quality Control: Perform quality checks on products during the breakdown process to ensure they meet specified standards and requirements. Identify and report any quality issues or discrepancies.
· Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records and documentation of breakdown activities, including quantities, specifications, and any relevant information. Generate reports on breakdown efficiency, productivity, and inventory levels.
· Communication and Collaboration: Liaise with various stakeholders, including warehouse staff, transportation teams, and customer service representatives, to facilitate smooth breakdown operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
· Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and safety guidelines throughout the breakdown process. Promote a safe working environment and enforce proper handling and storage procedures.
