The Lead Moving Agent is responsible for managing the logistics of the moves, acting as a point of contact for the company, ensuring a smooth and organized transition. Key Responsibilities and skills:
Customer Interaction:
Communicating with clients to explain the moving process, answer questions, and provide clear estimates.Address customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner. Ensure customer satisfaction with the moving process.
Preparing Estimates:
Visiting potential clients' homes or businesses to evaluate the items to be moved, including their size, weight, and fragility.Creating detailed written estimates that outline the scope of work, costs, and payment terms, as well as calculating labor costs and transporting goods.Strong math skills are necessary for accurately calculating costs and providing estimates.
Scheduling and Dispatching:
Schedule and dispatch movers, trucks, and equipment to various locations based on customer requests and needs.Prepare schedules and route plans. Monitor the progress of moving jobs and adjust schedules as needed.
Communication and Coordination:
Communicate with movers, supervisors, and customers to relay information, address concerns, and resolve issues. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with clients and explaining complex information.
Software Proficiency:
Familiarity with CRM software and other relevant computer programs is required.
Utilizing company software to input customer information, track estimates, and manage schedules.
Requirements:
Must own a laptop, reliable vehicle and cell phone. Work 20% from home office and 80% on the road, meeting with potential customers, other field services, driving 26Ft box trucks and complete some heavy lifting, when required. Moving industry experience is a must.
Flexible Work Schedule:
Expect to work 3-8+ hours shifts. Mornings, evenings and weekends availability.
