Providence Solutions is looking for a new person to join our small team!
Qualified applicants will be competent and confident operating a stand up reach truck, a sit down forklift, and a ride-on electric pallet jack. Along with the ability to operate these machines, we need a "can do" attitude! Though these don't happen often, as a small company we have to perform many tasks including cleaning spills, restacking cases onto pallets, and many other things that will come up.
In addition to the machines inside the building, we have a semi truck that we use to move trailers around our yard. A strong candidate would know how to drive the truck (manual transmission), back trailers onto the dock and into the yard.
Average of 35 hours a week. Overtime paid after 40 hours worked.
Our hours of operation are estimated as follows:
Monday 9a-12p
Tuesday on call
Wednesday 9a-6p
Thursday 9a-8p
Friday 9a-6p
Sat/Sun - generally off, but as needed.
The position is offered at $20 an hour, but will be increased experience. A well qualified candidate could expect $25-30 an hour. Lunch breaks are paid. We do not offer any benefits at this time.
