Requirements:
-Valid Driver’s License:
-Must possess a valid EMT certificate.
Experience:
-Previous experience in non-emergency medical transport (NEMT) or EMT driving is preferred.
-Clean Driving Record:
-A clean motor vehicle report (MVR) with no DUI or major traffic violations.
Knowledge of Local Roads:
-Familiarity with the local roadways and traffic patterns is a plus.
Customer Service Skills:
-Ability to provide excellent customer service, especially when interacting with patients.
Physical Requirements:
-Ability to assist patients in and out of the vehicle, if necessary. This may involve helping with wheelchairs, walkers, or other mobility aids.
CPR Certification:
-Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within a specified time frame).
Background Check:
-Willingness to submit to a background check and drug screening.
