Construction material wholesaler has the following opportunity for a team player with motivation to succeed to join our team in Lyndhurst, NJ. We are in search of a Heavy Equipment Mechanic Assistant with a minimum of 2 years experience or recent trade/vocational school graduate.
Requirements:
Repairing and performing preventive maintenance on heavy equipment.
Experience working with excavators, wheel loaders etc.
Experience with screeners, crushers and stackers and major plus.
Hydraulic and electric systems repair and maintenance.
Ability to pass background, motor vehicle, and drug screens.
OSHA 10-Hour, OSHA 30-hour Construction and/or 40-Hour Hazwoper certifications
Must be fluent in English and Spanish to work efficiently and safely with lead mechanic and yard employees.
