Fleet Maintenance Supervisor - Full-Time (Diesel Class 8 Trucks/Trailers)
Join our dynamic team as a Maintenance Superintendent, where you'll play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day activities of our skilled technicians engaged in the maintenance and repair of diesel Class 8 trucks and trailers. This role not only requires hands-on expertise under the diesel hood but also the ability to perform a variety of administrative tasks to support our maintenance operations.
Key Qualifications:
Minimum education: High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 2 years of experience in a vehicle repair facility or similar setting.
Must have hands-on experience with Diesel Class 8 trucks/trailers.
Prior management experience in a unionized setting is an asset.
Diesel Mechanic certifications are highly valued.
Proficient in industry-specific software and basic computer programs, including Microsoft Office.
Strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service, particularly in stressful situations.
Ability to effectively prioritize and manage time.
Knowledge of DOT/MOT/JWC/OSHA/OSHA Intl./CCOHS regulations.
Job Specifics:
Full-time position with no remote work option.
No touch freight handling involved.
Focus on Dry Vans freight type.
Over-the-Road (OTR) trucking route.
Compensation:
Salary Range: $41,000 - $78,000 annually, depending on experience.

Work Schedule:
8-hour shifts.
Preferred Credentials:
Experience in Supervising (1 year).
Maintenance experience (1 year).
Driver's License.
