Position Overview
We’re seeking an experienced Commercial Electrician to join our client's team. This role requires hands-on expertise in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems on commercial projects. You’ll work independently with minimal supervision, leading by example while ensuring safety and compliance with electrical codes. Key Responsibilities:
At least 5 years of experience in electrical work, with a strong understanding of wiring methods used in both commercial and industrial settings.
Skilled in troubleshooting electrical systems and providing efficient solutions.
Ability to work independently and complete projects on time without direct supervision.
Dedicated to delivering quality work with punctuality and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with teams and clients.
Experience installing and maintaining lighting systems, power feeds for forklift chargers, receptacles, and other commercial electrical systems.
Proficient in conduit bending and installing various types of conduit, cables, and wiring systems.
Supervise and mentor junior electricians, ensuring all work meets safety protocols and quality standards.
Compensation
Pay range: $25 - $32 per hour
Qualifications
Ability to work 40-hour weeks.
Proficient in the use of basic hand tools.
Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
Strong references that confirm work history and reliability.
OSHA 10 or aerial lift certification is a plus.
