We are a property damage restoration business that specializes in the cleanup from floods, fires, and mold. We are looking for a crew chief / supervisor - someone who can oversee technicians, be hands on, communicate with customers and insurance adjusters, and handle paperwork required for each job. On a day to day, you will be the leader of a 2 man crew. On larger jobs, you may be expected to supervise 2-10 individuals.
We are seeking someone who is comfortable working hard in challenging situations, enjoys meeting new people, has excellent communication skills, and is a serious multi-tasker. We are looking for a supervisor that doesn't mind getting their hands dirty jumping into a job to do what is needed to get it done. Someone is needed that can handle a job from beginning to end with minimal guidance. Someone who will also be able to supervise others and handle multiple assignments at once.

Primary Responsibilities (Restoration experience a must)
Explain restoration process and answer customer questions, as needed.
Monitor, communicate, and respond to customer needs/concerns.
Communicate job progress to the Project Manager and supervise technicians and their activities.
Identify safety hazards, communicate, and establish control measures to ensure the safety of occupants and workers.
Manage job file documentation (paperwork) to ensure complete and accurate project details.
Knowledge of using DASH, Encricle, DocuSketch, and MICA software (willing to teach the right candidate)
Manage and control costs of production projects. Oversee inventory control.
Manage assets by protecting and using equipment and materials properly.
Professional appearance.
Position Requirements:
1 year of experience working for a restoration / mitigation company
Construction experience/knowledge - able to handle controlled demolition of bathrooms, kitchens, light experience with basic plumbing/electrical - such as detaching toilets, sinks, dishwashers.
Experience in cleaning/restoration field required
Comfortable using iPads, laptops, other technology to input job information, notes, pictures
Ability to diagram work sites
We require on-call rotations for evening, weekends, and holidays.
Effective oral communication, basic math skills
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawls spaces, attics)
Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time
Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
Ability to work with/around cleaning products/chemicals
Ability to be "on call" every other weekend a MUST!
Clean driving record is a MUST!
Ability to successfully complete a background check
