Kurnat Woodworking is a fast-growing custom cabinetry and architectural millwork company serving NJ & NYC.
We are searching for a rare A-player — a cabinetmaker who is also a planner, problem-solver, and leader.
This is not an ordinary shop job.
This is a leadership seat that will shape how every project starts, flows, and finishes.
Your Role:
Plan: Translate drawings into complete shop packages (materials, cut lists, build sequence, schedule).
Lead: Direct shop workflow, set priorities, and make sure every cabinet is built to spec, on time.
Make: Hands-on cabinetmaking when required — you’re not just a planner, you’re a doer with proven craftsmanship.
Coordinate: Communicate clearly with designers, shop team, and install crew to eliminate confusion and delays.
We Expect You To:
Have 5+ years in cabinetmaking & millwork engineering.
Be fluent in shop drawings (Cabinet Vision, AutoCAD, or similar).
Understand construction methods (inset, overlay, custom details).
Have the eye of a craftsman and the brain of a planner.
Lead with standards — no sloppy work, no cutting corners.
Handle pressure and deadlines with confidence.
