Garik Automotive Equipment Corporation is looking for a key guy to help develop our air compressor division throughout the tri-state area, must have experience with repairing 5-50hp recip air compressors, also being familiar with screw compressors are a plus, (MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE) be successful with with our company, we are one of the premier go to installation-sales company's in the tri-state area for automotive shop equipment who does not make it a habit to have a revolving door constantly changing employees, we are more concerned about the quality of the work and the people we hire than volume, we are looking to hire a well rounded customer friendly person with compressor experience and who we can also train for other shop equipment.
Must have a valid drivers license, you will meet each morning in Nutley NJ and then travel to the jobs in a company vehicle, our 40yr old company specializes in the sales and installation of Automotive Shop Equipment such as hydraulic auto lifts-air compressors-lubrication systems-waste oil heaters throughout the state of NJ. for some of the largest dealer groups in the tr-state area.

1) Valid clean drivers license. (REQUIRED)
2) Must be able to pass a DOT physical for vehicles under 26,000lbs. (REQUIRED)
3) Attention to detail and follow instructions.
4) Be neat and clean in appearance.
5) Have the capability to process and multi-task an array of subject matter, strong technical background
6) Basic math required. (REQUIRED)
7) High School Or GED Diploma Required.
8) Able to work on your feet for 8 hrs.
9) Able to work without fear of heights up to 18' at times, with the correct equipment.
10) Pipe installation, general knowledge of threading and hanging pipe a plus.
11) We have a drug and alcohol free place to work.
12) Must be able to make it to work everyday and on time.
13) Be motivated and extend that to the crew.
14) Must be able to pass a background check.
15) Must be able flexible with your hours, OT is required.
Compensation will be determined by how much experience you have, health insurance is offered and benefits after 90 day trial period, we also have paid holidays-personal days-vacation time.
