Zaphyr Technologies is a Managed IT Services Provider, based out of Parsippany, NJ and has been servicing Small Business Clients since 2003.

Candidate:

We are looking for a Junior/Entry-Level IT Support Technician who has some beginner experience and the familiarity of working for an MSP (Managed Services Provider) or has worked for a team in providing Technical Support for end-users.

Responsibilities:

- You will provide Helpdesk and IT support to our growing client base which includes, Law Enforcement Agencies, CPA Firms, Medical Practices, etc.

- You should possess a pleasant personality, strong communication skills and be able to interact directly with end-users. Diligent following up after calls and emails is a requirement of this position.

- Ideal candidates will be focused and disciplined in their work so they can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Technical Skillset:

Candidates must be familiar with:

- Desktop Operating Systems: Windows 7,8,10,11. MAC OS experience is a great Add-on.

- Desktop Applications: MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint), Adobe, Quickbooks

- Server Operating Systems: Windows 2012, 2016, 2019, 2022 (preferred experience, not mandatory)

- Cloud Applications: MS Office 365 Management

- AntiVirus: Webroot, SentinelOne, McAfee, Symantec.

- Hardware Troubleshooting: Desktop, Laptop hardware issue resolutions. Includes replacing hardware components like Hard-Drive, Memory, etc.

Ideal Candidates would have familiarity with:

- Microsoft Hypervisors: Windows 2012, 2016, 2019, 2022

- Connectwise Manage: as a PSA (Ticketing)

- Connectwise Control : as an RMM (Remote Support) tool.

- ScreenConnect Control: for Remote support.

- Backup: Datto Backups.

- Firewalls:: Sonicwall TZ and NSA Series.

- Wireless AP: Ubiquiti / Unifi Access Points.

- IT Certifications: Always helpful. A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft, Azure.
