Hidden Gem Beauty and Wellness is looking for a friendly, organized, and tech-savvy
Front Desk Coordinator to join our salon team. This role is the first point of contact for
clients, responsible for managing appointments, handling inquiries, and ensuring
smooth salon operations. Additionally, you will assist with social media management to
promote our services, engage with clients online, and help grow our digital presence.
Key Responsibilities:
● Greet clients warmly and check them in for appointments.
● Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments efficiently.
● Handle phone calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries.
● Process payments, issue receipts, and manage the cash register.
● Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
● Provide product recommendations and assist with retail sales.
● Address client concerns and escalate issues when necessary.
● Create and post engaging content (photos, videos, and stories) on Instagram,
Facebook, and TikTok.
● Respond to comments, messages, and online reviews in a timely manner.
● Promote salon specials, new services, and upcoming events.
● Capture and edit photos/videos of clients (with permission) to showcase
transformations.
● Track social media engagement and suggest improvements.
Qualifications & Skills:
● Previous experience in customer service or receptionist roles (preferred).
● Knowledge of social media platforms and basic content creation.
● Strong communication and organizational skills.
● Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
● Friendly and professional demeanor.
● Professional appearance and a positive attitude
● Experience with scheduling software Fresha is a plus.
