Outside Sales/Service - Account Manager
Decorative Lighting Industry
Territory NY/NJ
Remote with extensive travel
Requires: Previous sales experience with a manufactured product. Lighting industry experience a plus, not required.

Responsibilities of the Outside Sales/Service – Account Manager:
Manage specific accounts within a given territory to grow sales
Drive new product placement
Develop new sales opportunities within existing accounts – e.g., work with builders/outside sales
Prospect for new account opportunities
Service accounts with product training, display management, sales associate assistance. inventories
Manage literature and digital resources
Represent the company at trade shows, professional events
Qualifications of the Outside Sales/Service – Account Manager:
Previous sales experience with branded products or as manufacturer representative
Knowledge of electric, construction, design/style areas preferred ; Lighting industry exp a plus
Demonstrable sales track record
Prospecting experience, building sales pipeline & client relationships
Competitive, driven, self-motivated sales mentality
Top line communication skills: verbal, written, interpersonal
Proficient with technology (Microsoft Office, use of ipad, etc.)
Persistent, resourceful, and able to work autonomously
