Job Summary:
Add Ventures Construction is seeking a highly motivated and personable Director of Business Development to lead outreach, relationship building, and event coordination with property management firms and engineers. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on face-to-face networking, follow-up, and event planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct outreach to prospective clients via calls, emails, and in-person visits
Build and track relationships with property managers and engineers using JobNimbus CRM
Schedule and attend client lunches and low-key “Lunch & Learn” sessions
Follow up on work order and project requests, and ensure proposal delivery/response
Plan and attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions
Coordinate company participation and sponsorships for CAI, IREM, and other industry events
Manage promotional items and swag inventory; prepare and distribute branded materials
Organize and deliver year-end gifts for key clients and prospects
Plan annual holiday events and company-hosted luncheons
Maintain detailed event, relationship, and proposal logs in Google Calendar and JobNimbus
Qualifications:
Strong communication and organizational skills
Comfortable with CRM tools and event planning
Energetic, personable, and proactive in outreach and follow-up
Able to travel locally for meetings, lunches, and events
Prior experience in business development, real estate, or property management a plus
