We have an immediate opening for a full-time Business Development Specialist / Sales Representative to spearhead our lead generation and proactive sales operations. Our ideal candidate is someone with knowledge of the video / film production industry or advertising and marketing, with prior B2B sales experience. This position is ideal for someone who would like an opportunity to use their prior sales experience and build and operation to meet the growing demand for our services. We are offering a generous base salary and commission structure for the right candidate.

This position engages with our customer base in a sales activity-driven role. The Business Development Specialist / Sales Representative’s main focus will be customer acquisition through effective lead qualification, prospect engagement and closing sales. As the company’s front line of contact, the Sales Rep will be responsible for handling current customers’ inquiries and proactively acquiring new business. Working with the creative team is an important part of the process to achieve success.

- The ability to create and implement a sales strategy within chosen target sectors

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

- Actively pursue new business opportunities by building rapport with current clients

- Proactively develop business from new leads and prospective clients

- Create proposals and work with the creative team to close sales

- Develop and maintain knowledge of our services to understand clients’ needs and identify sales opportunities

- Attend industry and target market events to stay informed of current trends, represent the company, and network for future business

- Meet new business goals and overall sales targets

- Provide bi-weekly sales and marketing reports

Position Requirements/Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or relevant field

- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role /same or adjacent industry

- Comparable military experience will be considered

- Client-facing roles in the Film / Video Production industry highly valued

- Proficiency in Google Docs and/or Microsoft Office

- Experience working with a CRM

- Experience working in a fast paced environment

- Valid Drivers License-ability to drive
