We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Traffic Control Monitor to oversee and direct the flow of traffic in industrial park located in Lyndhurst, NJ.
Responsibilities:
Maintain clear communication with team members and other stakeholders regarding traffic patterns and site conditions.
Direct traffic at site to ensure safety for workers and the public.
Report any incidents or hazards immediately to the site supervisor.
Be able to follow and give directions pertaining to site safety.
Control vehicle speeds.
Experience:
Previous experience in a traffic control or similar role is preferred.
Qualifications:
Be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and the public.
Must be reliable.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
Law enforcement background a plus.
10 or 30 hour OSHA (Construction Safey) a plus.
