High end furniture store looking for strong, reliable assistant with good work ethic. Must be able to lift heavy furniture with help of 2nd assistant using lift-gates, dollies, etc. Varied duties include delivery of furniture to customers' homes (primarily North Jersey), safely unloading incoming furniture into warehouse, showroom display and maintenance of warehouse, trucks & showroom. Must be available on Saturdays, approximately 9am to 5:30 and several days during the week (no evenings, Sundays or Mondays) Candidate must have neat appearance, strong written & verbal communication skills and be a team player. They must be organized, proficient with use of woodworking hand tools & small power tools and have reliable transportation to work. Some computer skills a plus. Non-smoker preferred.
