We have an immediate need for a well-organized individual to join our team as a Temp Accounts Receivable Assistant. This position will require you to be in the Jersey City office 3 days per week, excluding Fridays for approximately 5-7 hours per day.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with cash applications and payment posting
Process security deposit refunds accurately and in a timely manner
Perform resident account adjustments as needed
Support deposit accounting, including analyzing move-out statements, reconciling charges, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and lease agreements
Utilize Yardi Systems to manage and track accounting data
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure accuracy
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience using Yardi Systems (required)
Working knowledge of deposit accounting, including reconciliation and tenant ledger reviews
Strong communication skills with excellent follow-up
Personable and team-oriented
Experience in multifamily residential real estate is preferred but not required
Compensation: $30p/hr-$40p/hr
