Aeromark Mechanical Inc. is a very established HVAC contractor that has been serving Northern New Jersey clients for the last 16 years. While we specialize in High-Rise New Construction we also do jobs of other specifications and sizes. QUALIFICATIONS
o The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent related work experience.
o The ideal candidate will possess minimum of 1 year experience working as an APM in HVAC construction.
o Candidates must have a working knowledge of the principles and terminology in the Construction Industry and possess the ability to read drawings.
o Candidates must possess advanced computer literacy skills.
o Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel.
o Experience with AutoCAD programs preferred.
o Experience in QuickBooks a plus.
o Experience in systems like Procore, Textura Payment systems, Tsheets preferred.
o On-the-job Construction Experience a plus.
o Must be a team player, have excellent communication skills, and be extremely punctual/thorough when carrying out tasks.
o Candidate must be someone who can handle multiple tasks and assignments at the same time
RESPONSIBILITIES
o Maintain logs on project material submittals, change orders, equipment releases, drawing changes, balance to complete.
o Assist in developing material management systems which streamline deliveries and material staging.
o Assist in AIA Billing for large commercial projects on monthly basis.
o Assist in identifying conflicts on shop drawings or jobsite walkthroughs.
o Manage RFIs (request for information) and RFPs (requests for proposals), submittals, outgoing/incoming documents, change orders, etc
o Place/schedule material orders and follow up on deliveries with suppliers, foreman, & field personnel.
o Assist with take-offs on mechanical plans for estimating and ordering purposes.
o Send & Receive Submittals to customers and track returned submittals
o Assist in coordination efforts between other MEPS trades before and during construction phase of project.
o Maintain tool inventories and ensure they are returned accurately and promptly.
o Maintain email traffic and ensure prompt distribution to correct personnel
o Assist Project Manager with maintaining a safe work environment and participate in company safety initiatives
