The Coalition on AIDS in Passaic County, Inc. (CAPCO) is seeking a HIV Prevention
Specialist to participate in the HIV Status-Neutral activities for persons with HIV (PWH) and those at-risk. This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires someone committed to assisting a variety of communities impacted by HIV, STI’s Hepatitis and societal trauma.
JOB OVERVIEW:
✓ Provide HIV/STI/Hepatitis Counseling & Testing.
✓ Provide comprehensive case management for all Status-Neutral participants (PrEP, nPEP, HRNs, PWH, and Telehealth Participants).
✓ Provide linkage and navigation services to all Status-Neutral participants.
✓ Coordinate and communicate with Telehealth Providers.
✓ Participate in Community Outreach.
✓ Track, monitor and report on all program activities.
QUALIFICATION/REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree and at least one year experience.
Related job experience may be considered on a year-to-year basis for bachelor’s degree.
Bi-lingual Spanish/English required;
Valid driver’s license and reliable car
Detail oriented, organized, ability to multi-task, culturally competent, highly motivated, independent, professional;
Must be available Saturdays and/or up to two evenings a week until 9 PM Must be fully vaccinated according to
the latest CDC guidance
