Custom sheet metal fabricator in Wayne, NJ is seeking a mechanic/welder. We are a fabrication “Job Shop” that does a wide variety of work, producing high quality, precision parts.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret drawings, sketches and take verbal instructions
- Weld steel, stainless steel and aluminum using Mig and Tig welders
- Set up and operate other fabrication equipment, drills, saws, shear, notcher, etc.
- Participate in the fabrication of precision sheet metal parts, frames, hoppers, bins, and building machinery
Requirements:
- 2-5+ years welding and sheet metal fabrication experience
- Attention to detail, the ability to follow instructions, and pride in your work
- Ability to set up and operate Mig and Tig welders
