We remained open during the Covid crisis, manufacturing and supplying Rubber Products, Packaging Equipment Replacement Parts and Standard or Custom industrial Belting.
Since 1934, STILES ENTERPRISES INC., previously Stiles Rubber Co, has built a reputation as a specialty manufacturer and distributor of rubber related parts and industrial belting.
Our need is for a full time entry level or experienced machinist / rubber fabricator to:
Lathe cut, Grind, and Hand Fabricate rubber and belting products to customer specifications.
We are looking for someone with a mechanical aptitude who can be trained in required shop tasks and capable of performing close tolerance hand fabrication and assembly.
Working hours are 7:30AM 4:00PM.
Breaks: (2) 15 minute breaks
Lunch: ½ Hour
It is expected that all employees are willing to work in other areas if required. Although we do not have a history of working overtime, employees must be available if the need arises.
Candidates must
Be motivated creative self-starters
Be willing to work in machining and non-machining shop production
Have neat and organized work habits
Have the ability to work with others in a small shop
Be able to multi task
Have a familiarity with working from simple shop drawings.
Be able to communicate in English verbally and in writing
Be able to measure and do simple math using fractions and decimals
Maintain an on-time steady work schedule
Lift up to 50 pounds
Preferred Candidates
Experienced or trained on manual lathe, manual milling machine
