Job Description
Compile and maintain records of quantity, type, and value of material, property, equipment, merchandise, or supplies.
Count and record totals of material, property, equipment, merchandise, or supplies to inventory/property records.
Verify record computations against physical inventory counts and adjust errors in computation or count.
Investigate and report discrepancies between inventory records and physical counts.
Check in delivery drivers and inspect all returning trailers.
Verify and process returned goods and damaged products back into inventory.
Manage inventory control, including checking product quality, taking daily inventory, and handling spoiled products.
Perform duties efficiently to minimize spoilage and contribute to the company’s profit margin.
Inspect the quality of produce and remove poor-quality products before they reach customers.
Maintain daily inventory records.
Sort through pallets of damaged products and repack produce promptly and efficiently to minimize loss.
Execute other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Perform physical activities such as bending, twisting, kneeling, reaching (above shoulder level), standing, crawling, and climbing.
Lift, push, pull, and carry items weighing over 20 lbs in various environments (dry, cooler, or freezer warehouses).
Perform keyboarding and filing tasks.
Steel-toe shoes or boots required.
Qualifications
1+ years of inventory experience in a warehouse environment
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
Background in accounting, administrative support, or a related area is preferred.
