ELECTRICIAN / CONTROL PANEL BUILDER
For more than 75 years, Foremost Machine Builders, Inc. has provided services to the plastics, recycling, and material handling industries. Foremost is an innovative manufacturer of plastics industry equipment and is seeking an individual to be part of our production team in our expanding business.
We have an immediate opportunity in our Fairfield, NJ location for an experienced Electrician/ Control Panel Builder
Overview:
This individual will be a key member of our production team helping to create the parts/products we manufacture.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Able to read / follow electrical schematics.
Drill tap and cut holes in metal enclosures.
Layout, mount, and wire electrical panel components.
Comply with the company safety procedures.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

Dealing with Ambiguity – Able to cope with change, not easily frustrated, and take action without all the required information.
Flexibility – ability to work overtime as required based on Business or Customer requirements including weekends and/or holidays.
Ability to read, write and speak English.
Able to lift 50lbs or higher and work on feet for 8+ hours.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of 5 years of direct related experience.
Good electrical and organizational skills.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics/wiring diagrams.
